The 2014 Passive House Award, supported by the EU through the PassREg project and under the patronage of the German Federal Ministry of Transport Building and Urban Development, is a celebration of architecture. The Award demonstrates the great potential and versatility offered by Passive House solutions.

Seven winners, six categories
On February 10th, after a day of deliberation, the 2014 Passive House Award jury selected 21 finalists and 7 winners (among them one Passive House region) spread across 6 categories from amongst the 92 eligible submissions.

The internationality of the submissions, which came from 20 different countries, is reflected in the variety of winning projects. These will be honoured at the opening plenary of the International Passive House Conference in Aachen (Germany) on the morning of Friday, April 25th. Winners will also be featured in the 2014 edition of the Passive House booklet, Active for more comfort - the Passive House, which will make its début at the conference.
